Vigan City, Philippines, hosts several major festivals, with the most prominent being the Longganisa Festival (January 22) celebrating its famous garlic sausage, followed by the Vigan City Fiesta (January 25) honoring St. Paul, and the Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival of the Arts (late April/early May) highlighting local crafts and culture, alongside the spooky/commemorative Raniag: Twilight Festival (late Oct/early Nov). These festivals feature street dancing, parades (including kalesas), cultural shows, and feasts centered around Vigan's heritage and products. Travel becomes more meaningful when it allows people to experience the culture and traditions of a place. The Vigan City Fiesta of the Conversion of St Paul turned the city into a festive space which replaced its normal peaceful atmosphere.  The event demonstrated that festivals can change the city environment while bringing people together. The Carnaval was one of the highlights of the fiesta.  T...

my 3rd Quarter experiences

During the theid quarter it was a struggle, learning new things and getting better at things I already knew. Although I didn't remember much I realized how much I can learn from going out explore and having fun with my friends.  During the 3rd quarter I remember more of the fun times outside of school than inside the school but some memorable experience at class were laughing and not paying attention and even though I never understood the lessons I still enjoyed the subject period.  During the third 3rd quarter we "came back from lunch 4 hours late from 12 PM to 4 PM" and accidentally got on a tricycle to go to jtc to use bump cars and karaoke and eat empanada but I'll never forget how all of it was an accident and not planned. and there was also a time we went to the carnaval after class during these times I learned that even when things never go to plan it...

José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda "Bayani ng Filipino"

The people of the Philippines regard Jose Rizal as their national hero because his historical writings and national identity work make him the most important national figure of their country.Through his responsibilities as an intellectual his writing work and his dedication to justice he showed that his commitment to his nation was unbreakable. Rizal used his knowledge about Filipino people to prove their suffering under Spanish rule because he chose peaceful methods instead of violent ones.Through his novels and essays Rizal showed Filipinos that they should recognize social problems which include power abuse and social inequality. His works inspired people to think critically and demand change.  His life shows that real heroism involves demonstrating bravery and acting truthfully while dedicating oneself to help others.Through his life achievements students can desarroll themselves which he achieved by studying hard and thinking for himself and serving his country. epag Laban karapatan ng kabataan

The National Children's Month celebration for 2025 dedicated its entire program to showing people how essential it is to safeguard children who use digital platforms. The theme focused on two goals which included ending Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and eliminating Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials. The public celebration educated people about the dangers that children encounter in both physical spaces and internet spaces where they face greater risks. The celebration activities together with their messages established a reminder that children possess rights which need protection. Children have the right to protection because they require both privacy rights and dignity treatment. The celebration helped me understand my online responsibilities as a student. The online world taught me to handle my personal information with care while communicating with others. The experience taught me that when something feels wrong I must speak up about it....

national indigenous peoples month

According to the National Indigenous Peoples Month of the Philippines, culture is the driving force behind the future. The theme connects Indigenous identity with the concept of sustainable development. It is a very straightforward concept to grasp. Eco-friendly characters and communities manage the forests, rivers, and the farming lands that are not only sources of food for the cities but also contribute to the lowering of risks associated with climate. However, rituals alone are not enough to secure the territory or the people's means of living. In the absence of proper funding, implementation, and supervision, this festivity turns into mere symbolism. Referring to Indigenous peoples as the “bedrock” of sustainability brings with it a dilemma. On one hand, it acknowledges the Indigenous communities’ concern for the environment, on the other, it does so while the same authorities are granting mining, logging, and hydroelectric projects on native lands. Graham Crackers

As the Christmas Season came to an end i realized that the year has also ended which sparks a new beninging and a new year.  I learned that all good things must come to an end at some point just like the Christmas season and and it starts something that will never be the same like at January 5 school started again. But this isn't about that it's about how the Christmas season came to an end but about how I celebrated it with the people I love.  At during December 25 2025 last year I realized that real ice show real lies cream which is one of the foods we ate during Christmas and this food for me it shows that love can be expressed in many different ways like giving food that we all love and ice cream was one of the foods we shared to show our love but food isn't the only way of showing the essence of Christmas we also used helping as a way to show our love and care we helped each other cook and prepare the food and we also visited our cousin's an...
